Are you an experienced nursing leader passionate about making a difference in hospice care? Our client, a nationally recognized, provider-led company with an exceptional culture, is seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing / Clinical Services to lead their Houston hospice office.
About the Role:
As the Director of Nursing / Clinical Services, you will:
- Lead Clinical Operations: Oversee all clinical functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality hospice care to patients and their families.
- Manage and Mentor Staff: Supervise and support a team of nurses and clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to all federal and state regulations, hospice standards, and company policies.
- Drive Quality Improvement: Implement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes, reduce risks, and optimize service delivery.
- Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the Administrator/Executive Director and other key stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and drive growth.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in hospice care, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience managing and leading a hospice office with a census of at least 75 patients.
- In-depth knowledge of hospice regulations, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, and best practices in end-of-life care.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
