We’re hiring a Staffing Coordinator to manage shift coverage for a high-volume, private duty home care team. You’ll handle 400+ caregivers and 80+ active cases — matching the right staff to the right client, day in and day out.

This isn’t a call center or cushy desk job. It’s fast-paced. High-stakes. You’ll be the one who keeps things running when someone calls out, a shift drops, or a family needs care extended. You’ll rotate on-call coverage with two others (nights and weekends by phone only), but you’ll always be the one people count on to figure it out.

What you’ll do:

  • Schedule caregivers across multiple San Diego service areas

  • Coordinate real-time shift coverage and fill-ins

  • Use scheduling software daily (training provided if needed)

  • Rotate on-call coverage with 2 other team members

  • Work on-site during training, with potential for partial hybrid later

What you bring:

  • 1+ year experience scheduling in home care, home health, or another shift-based environment

  • Calm communication and fast problem-solving under pressure

  • Familiarity with ClearCare or another scheduling system (a plus, not a must)

  • Comfortable being on-call in rotation (evenings/weekends by phone)

  • Located within a reasonable commute to Clairemont, San Diego — this is not a remote role
