Director of Nursing – Home Health
Region: Coastal Virginia (multi-site coverage)

The Role:

Lead a multi-site home health team. Oversee field clinicians. Manage visit volume. Enforce compliance. Optimize cost per episode.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise a team of RNs, LPNs, and PRNs across multiple offices

• Monitor visit utilization across a fixed-reimbursement model (~$2K per 30-day episode)

• Coach staff to avoid unnecessary visits—salaried roles must hit ~26 visits/week

• Enforce documentation standards to maintain billing and survey readiness

• Partner with intake, scheduling, and field teams to keep operations aligned

• Track performance using an EMR (WellSky or similar)

• Office-based leadership role; occasional field backup only when needed

What You Bring:

• Active RN license (Virginia)

• Experience managing clinical teams in a home health setting

• Knowledge of Medicare PPS and how visit volume affects cost and compliance

• Confident enforcing standards and pushing accountability

• Comfortable coaching field staff and coordinating across departments

• Proficient with EMRs and basic productivity tools

Pay:

• $95K–$110K base

• Bonus potential tied to census and operational performance
